A person who destroyed lives and murdered the innocent is clearly not deserving of a high stature or a role model. In this advertisement, Hitler’s image is transferred into Obama’s image. Since Hitler’s image is negative and unacceptable, Obama seems to look that way as well. Also, the color changes the feel of the image. Red, a color that represents blood, and war, is also a major part of the picture. Therefore, the image of Obama is portrayed in a violent way, which is a manner in which nobody wants to follow. Finally, the facial expressions cause the two to be portrayed as ignorant and self-centered. That is one of the things that people do not want from a leader. In conclusion, through Hitler’s facial expressions, color, and facial expressions, the advertisements transfer’s Hitler’s reputation to make Obama’s reputation negative and unsatisfactory.
